SINGA develops collaboration between refugees and their host societies, focusing on refugees’ personal, professional, cultural and entrepreneurial plans and goals. Over 3000 refugees participated in its programs -- including 500 who have been hosted through its housing platform, CALM. SINGA fosters the development of opportunities by changing the way locals perceive newcomers.

Founded as a citizen movement in 2012 in France, SINGA creates opportunities for refugees and their host communities to meet and cooperate, in 10 countries and 20 cities at the end of 2018. SINGA aims at building bridges between people, encouraging dialogue, fostering cultural enrichment and creating job opportunities. SINGA seeks to improve awareness and change perceptions about refugees and asylum seekers, in the perspective of an every day more globalized world.

SINGA invented several inclusive tools, which are today a source of innovation and social impact : community building threw cultural and sports workshops, leaded by both refugees and locals ; inclusive coworking space dedicated to social impact creators ; citizen hosting program (CALM - Comme à la maison), through which hostees are matched with potential hosts according to their professional project ; finally, an incubation program called Finkela, dedicated to support refugee entrepreneurs and locals who want to develop a project, creating social and interucltural link.
