I am both a creative and analytical person who thrives on innovative problem solving and collaborating in teams. I have 12+ years of engineering consulting experience, 8 of which were in the construction field. I am focused on using human-centered design techniques to solve today’s challenges.  After volunteering at an asylum seeker reception center in Sofia, Bulgaria for two years, I traded my hard hat in for post-it notes to take on the challenge of raising the quality of non-formal education being offered on the Balkan Peninsula to displaced learners due to forced migration.  In 2016, I started an organization called Team Up 2 Teach.
