The “Felsina” Astronomic Observatory, not far from Bologna town (and its illustrious University) in the apennines area of the valleys by the three rivers Reno-Lavino-Samoggia, chosen for the quality of dark sky by a local 50+ year old no-profit Association which is devoted to Astronomic research and outreach.

50+ years of scientific papers published, 50+ years of outreach events (mainly opening nights at the Astronomic Observatory).
Calls for observation and data results are in cooperation with National and International Astronomical research networks.
Local partners, mainly for outreach and informal education: Industrial Heritage Museum, INAF – National Institute for Astrophysics, CNR – National Research Council / Research Area, Department of Astronomy, Bologna University.
Every year, several School classes ages K6-19 are usually hosted in the Observatory premises. Their teachers are involved in the set up of the visit for particular needs mainly regarding study curricula.
