Alice Barbe is a social entrepreneur. After having graduated in european law and political sciences at the Universities of Copenhagen, Montpellier, Siena and Strasbourg, she works at GLOBE International, a parliamentary organization based in London where she works on environmental protection and natural capitalism. She then moves to Montreal to work at the United Nations Environnemental Protection Office, where she starts to focus on global warming and migrations and then to Mexico to work with Save the Children.

At the age of 25, she returns to Paris where she meets with the founders of SINGA and participate in the development of the organisation. In the meantime, she works as a CSR consultant, and develops an expertise on social innovation and social business. As the director of SINGA France, she manages the french team in order to strengthen connexions between refugees and host society, promote innovation in the field of asylum through the use of digital tools and participates in the creation of platforms, spaces, programs aiming to generate a better society, keen to welcome refugees.

In 2018, Alice has been selected in the first class of Obama Foundation Scholars at Columbia University.
