Reggio HUB is a team composed by local students that manage a visibility and contacts plan focused on priority target (foreign students) trough a innovative web portal. The REGGIO HUB’s course wants to be an opportunity of intercultural and experiencial exchange, a way to activate middle-term relationships not only beween foreign students and university/companies but also between the students themselves.

One Page Summary

The proposed solution is to realize a linking “vector” between the Reggio Emilia’s companies and the university environment and the foreign talents who may be interested in joining a middle term period study or work experience in a foreign country.
This vector gets real in a project named REGGIO HUB.
REGGIO HUB is a team composed by local students that manage a visibility and contacts plan to priority target trough a innovative web portal.

REGGIO HUB becomes a specialized team/department internal to REI (Reggio Emilia Innovation), with the mission of monitoring the non-satisfied need of professional workers in the human capital environment and of intercepting and interacting with the desidered target (foreign talents), promoting the social-economic landscape and Reggio Emilia’s excellences.
Thus, the main REGGIO HUB’s actors are the city’s firms and both the specialized associations and the University of Modena and Reggio (UNIMORE).
What?
Thus, Reggio HUB will have two main functions:
a) To monitor the professional need of the city’s companies, mapping the most searched working figures ranking
b) To manage in a strong manner the demand (working and studying opportunities) and the excellences of Reggio Emilia to the potential desidered target Reggio HUB will have the following actors with the following roles:
- Istitutional container: REI – Reggio Innovation > for its charactieristics and initial mission it becomes the natural project “home”, the actor who will promote the REGGIO HUB’s activities
- Actors/the Team : the project team that will constantly work on the project contents and to the development of the same. It will be composed by:
o Year by year, by a 5/10 students’ team, who may be from Reggio Emilia or foreign and will have the crucial role to define/realize the project base contents and choose the manners and the communication channels more suitable for the intraction with a same years-old group. These students will be choosen following some parameters of merit and some base competences derived from the reference university course (economics, comunication and IT engeenering). The marketing aim applied is that of the “user brand manager”, typical of brand experiences guided by a strong commitment of the users traget itself. The students role is the project’s heart: the aim is to build relationships not only at professional level, but also to “color” the social and cultural experience of being part of an environment thank to the same terget perception: city’s students but also foreign students will be linked between each other thank to REGGIO HUB and they will have the possibility to share experiences, life courses, professional and non-professional projects. This wants to be a strenght of the project.
o POPWAVE srls as marketing coach/coordinator in order to give the guiding strategy lines and to define the annual action plan and activate the main relationships with the environment landscape (companies and Unimore)
Environment’s companies: companies that will have to support REGGIO HUB at two levels:
o Participation to the periodical check of the searched professionists
o Sponsorship to the received service of interaction with the aimed target and environment promotion
- Unimore: the university is the most important subject of the project:
o It promotes the participation and the team selection which will compose the REGGIO HUB’s department
o It selects the masters and courses more interesting to the external environment.

If the project’s heart REGGIO HUB is represented by a team composed of city’s students and a web portal which becomes a showcase of the opportunities on the territory, the main driver of the project will be linked to the online and offline REGGIO HUB promotion.
Just after looking at the initial mapping activities of the most researched professionals, it will be set a ranking of researched talents and consequently a ranking of countries where these talents may be found.
Another digital and very important space of REGGIO HUB will be the Facebook page: the students who will compose the REGGIO HUB’s team will animate the page as the heart of the project in order to tell in a social and cultural manner their foreign peers what means living, studying and working in Reggio Emilia.
The page, aboslutely set on communicative target to target canons, will be the place where it is possible to prepare the territory on a cultural and integration point of view, and the portal will be the place where it is possible to respond to the territory’s opportunities and find informations in a well-structured way.
Thus, the project provides a digital marketing plan that is very aimed and functional to the viral diffusion of the project.
