Started my career at Finmeccanica Group, (Italian conglomerate with focus on ITC and defense industries) as patent coordinator and subsequently as marketing product manager for wireless networks and end-to-end application in the civilian sector for major accounts, including telecom operators and service providers.
At the beginning of 2000 I had opportunities to get a work experience with international exposure at NTT DoCoMo where I gained knowledge of Asian markets and established long-lasting contacts with Japanese wireless operators and companies in the TelCo industry.
I have then worked at WIND Telecomunicazioni from 2001 up until 2006 as handset manager and senior alliance manager (in charge of international alliances and chairman of the working groups for the coordination of common marketing and procurement activities within the alliance including, besides Wind, the following operators:Telefonica Moviles (Spain), O2 Group (UK), Bouygues Telecom (France), Telenor (Norway), Sunrise (Switzerland) and One (Austria). In this period I have been also task force leader for innovative services as mobile payments and other mobile multimedia applications.
From late 2006, I work as consultant in the telecommunication and energy sectors, with successful projects of starting up two MVNOs in Italy. I am also a serial entrepreneur and start-upper, putting my energy and experience into launching a research spin-off in the area of mobile marketing and another corporate spin-off with focus in the energy sector.
