CUSE are a strategic node

Established in 2014, Coventry University Social Enterprise (CUSE) supports the creation and development of social enterprises by University staff, students and the community to support the growth of a wider social economy. CUSE mission is to help people and communities realise their entrepreneurial potential. We run an Enterprise Hub that provides a suite of services – including training and capacity building courses focused on entrepreneurship, social enterprise, mentoring, and coordination of support networks and provision of new tools for learning. We provide incubation service and SE and SME support. CUSE currently lead Coventry Social Enterprise Forum - a partnership of the key support agencies in the city who are developing an action plan for the growth of the social enterprise sector. The forum has recently achieved Social Enterprise Place Status for Coventry and under this agenda we are creating a social enterprise and innovation strategy for the city.
