Alfonso Farruggia, PhD in Software Engineering - CEO and Co-Founder of SementusaTech. After completing his MSc in Software Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino in 2008, he obtained a PhD in research at the University of Palermo in 2011, where he conducted a research on a probabilistic approach to detecting failures in Wireless Sensor Network, applying Machine Learning Algorithms and Pattern Recognition. From 2011 to 2014 he works at Palermo's Policlinico Hospital as a Fellow Researcher, conducting research on Information Received from Unstructured Health Data.
