I am a plastic and pictorial arts teacher, ecodesigner and peasant. Raised in Teggiano, I moved to Bologna in '86 where I graduated with honors at the Academy of Fine Arts Clementina in '91. In '92 I bought a house on the Appennini’s near Bologna and I started experimenting with the practice of doing with the land and studying the plants while I was working as a free-lance artist. From 1997 to 2007 I worked in the art studio of Gianni Castagnoli, since 2004 as a freelance teacher I held courses at art schools, public schools etc ... From 2007 to 2010 I was part of the board of the Terraverde non-profit organization based in Bologna, where I was in charge of the coordination of 8 laboratories. Between 2004 and 2010 I held courses at the juvenile detention center of Bologna.
In the common desire to combine the artistic paths with the farming culture in 2011 together with other teachers I founded the non-profit association Geart that today is a supportive network of teachers, farmers, artists, students and artisans attentive to the theme of biodiversity. Since 2012 I have been president in office and my laboratory and my garden in the Apennines have become the headquarters of the association.
