I worked as a Brand Manager for five years. During this time, I gained insights
into production and life cycle processes of consumer goods.
I also experienced first hand how many products were being scrapped, despite the costly process, because keeping them on stock was a financial burden. Reasons for the discarding of the products were manifold, e.g. because of minor packaging damage, seasonal labeling or because a line of products got discontinued.

So I decided to take action and  to start a venture of my own. Inspired by projects in other countries  I gathered a group of people around this idea and founded the Fairmittlerei
