Brotpiloten offers solutions against the every day bread waste that lets dozens of tons of bread go to waste every day in Vienna. We cooperate with bakeries to take care of their overproduced goods by selling them the next day at a low price directly to the end-consumer or by doing caterings or supplying events with the day-old bakery products.
The organisation operates on different levels:
1. the individual - through encouraging individuals to reuse old-bakery product instead of wasting them in workshops and on the markets where we sell the bread.
2. the systemic: We cooperate with bakeries to take care of their overproduced good by selling these very good products on the next day at a significantly lower price on markets - directly to the end-consumer - or by doing caterings or supplying events.
