One Page Summary

The objective of the project “Hortisculptures” is the realization of an Artistic Agricoltural Garden, where two important disciplines as art and agriculture meet for the realization of Hortisculptures (green living sculptures); the project aims to implement the existing herbarium-vegetable garden in seat that actually counts more than 250 medicinal plants with a new plant of trees, shrubs and other plants with the “Food Forest technique”. We want to create an oasis of biodiversity that is a school at the same time,  available to the local and international communities, schools and universities, sustainable tourism enthusiasts, favoring training processes of inclusion. We allready work to break down the social barriers and contribute on the creation of a web made of authentic human relations. The scheduled events in plan: the seed-savers gathering is one of the events in which Geart spreads biological seeds for free, several days of open day of the Artistic agricoltural park; days of social collection and free distribution of the products derived by the new plant for the people in state of poverty, meetings and conferences with permaculture teachers. Each step is tought to be partecipated and social including and aims to create work and training for the people in need.

What we propose is an innovative park, cutting-edge and highly sustainable, a model that takes care of the Earth, protects landscapes and recovers rural areas in state of abandonment.
