The challenge we are addressing is the need to change the mindset of economically marginalized people from job seekers to that of job creators. Creative expression takes many forms and is expressed when there is a change from a consumer mindset to a creator mindset.
In practical terms, our solution takes the form of a workshop series that brings participants through a creative process. Grameen Italia as an organization needs to be involved as will, naturally, the individuals who would take part in the workshops. Organizations, businesses and associations in the locality will also be involved.  
In particular, our aim is to have this a tool to realize the potential of people who have been socially and economically marginalized. Creative potential exists across society but creative development is less accessible to marginalized populations. This leaves many people behind in the knowledge economy and is a waste of talent and productive potential.
The potential impact of our solution is for a more pro-active engagement of people with socialinfrastructural resources and institutions as creators and originators of new products and services. This contributes to a healthier, more dynamic social exchange, thicker social networks and more inclusive society and economy.
There are no competitors for our solution. We have tested and deployed this solution in an arts and culture project in Asia and the outcome was exceptional. In order to be able to scale up, we will have to formalize parts of our execution process and create materials including online free resources.
