Kidnovation is a media innovation lab that combines science and tech with art and storytelling to create tools to empower children, deliver social education and create a sustainable change in society.

Kidnovation is an organisation based in Stockholm -Sweden, with the goal to make social education and psychosocial support available to children everywhere.

We combine science, tech, art and storytelling to create digital and printed tools that can help teachers, social workers and parents deliver social education to children in an effective and easy way. And we measure the impact that our tools make on the children in a scientific but gamified way.

Our method is simple, we pack every type of social education we need to deliver in stories.

Who loves preaching? No one.

A story? Yes please!

Our method is based on Empathy, self-reflection allows us to be more flexible in the face of change and the challenge to what we believe in, to our vision of things.

We study the social challenge that the children face, then collaborate with universities and specialists to implement the best practices to create a solution, then we storytell the solution to make it more fun, easy to accept and simply to children, as well as to educators who need to deliver that solution in a simple way.

By creating fictional role models that the children can look up to, and taking them through adventurous journeys that are full of challenges. Those challenges are  reflection on daily challenges that children go through, and those characters teach the children the best practices to solve their problems, as well as to nourish the notions of diversity in society and gender equality and peaceful dialogue to solve conflicts.

Our own innovative method has been developed with help of specialists including professors of psychology in Europe's top universities.

It has been tested in reality for over 2 years and developed to reach the quality that it has today. and we helped many children at Swedish schools to empathise with each other's experiences, and appreciate the beauty of diversity and gender equality.

Our first Story Sarah's journey has shown huge success in Swedish schools to create empathy between local children and newly arrived refugee children. And to strengthen the notion of gender equality for children by featuring a female heroine that both boys and girls look up to.
