Fundación Educativa Activa-t is a Spanish NGO that works with schools to train their teachers and school board in the use of debate and dialogue in the classroom as a teaching tool. The organization works with different partners in the Spanish territory:
• local and regional governments like the Consejería de Educación de la Región de Murcia, the Ayuntamiento de Sagunto, the Consejería de Educación de las Islas Baleares, the Consejería de Educación de la Comunidad Valenciana
• universities and business schools like ESIC Business school in Valencia and Zaragoza, FUNDESEM Business School in Alicante, EDEM Business School in Valencia, Universidad de Alicante, Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, Universidad de Orihuela, Universidad de las Islas Baleares
• organizations that work to improve and develop the teachers´ teaching skills: CEFIRE Valencia, CEFIRE Alicante, CPR Murcia, CPR Zaragoza
• Other NGO: Fundación Mainel, Fundación Globalidad y Microeconomía, Instituto IDEAS

Fundación Educativa Activa-t runs a flew projects in the Spanish territory:


• Debate as a teaching tool: train teachers to use of debate and dialogue in the classroom. The project includes live workshops, and online training, webinars run by experts in the areas related to the topic. All the developed materials are uploaded in our website (www.fundacionactivate.org), so everyone can use the material


• Debate leagues and tournaments: to introduce the benefits of debate competition in schools. The purpose of the project is to create experiences for students, teachers and families along all the debate phases: preparation, debating and post debating. More than 100 schools have participated in the 2017-2018 edition


• Public speaking contest. The purpose of the project is to create open spaces in the schools, organizing the school public speaking day, and outside the schools, organizing local, regional and national competitions, where students from 12 to 18 years old can express their opinions about the suggested topics. This year more than 1.000 students have participated in the different activities organized in the Spanish territory.


• Photodebate and vidiodebate: A project designed to promote the use of photography and video edition among students as a way to promote dialogue among students
