Theo is one of the founding organisers of Xenia, a London-based grassroots organisation bringing together migrant and British women for activities that enable language practice and meaningful two-way social integration. Together with a team, she has grown Xenia from a one-off experiment into a shareable community model that can be used anywhere to promote more inclusive and connected communities. A lifelong feminist, Theo's Masters in Sociology focussed on gender and sexuality. She has been working alongside people to build capacity and empowerment within communities for over a decade, including as an informal educator, event coordinator, volunteer manager and youth playworker. Her passion is for the powerful potential of connections between people to activate sustainable social change.
