Helping young people from vulnerable groups (such as unemployed, refugees, migrants, etc.) integrate into the socioeconomic fabric, by re-skilling them on computer programming and connecting them with the private sector for job placement.

REvive is a registered non-profit organisation based in Greece, with a mission to help young people from vulnerable groups (such as unemployed, refugees, migrants, etc.) integrate into the socioeconomic fabric, by reskilling them on computer programming through blended learning (i.e., it combines the e-Learning platform Match and teach Me for Integration with a physical code school), with beneficiaries coming from collaborating NGOs. Then connects them with companies from the ICT sector for job placement as intern software developers, where the demand for skilled people is higher than the supply.
REvive is supported by Google and the European Investment Bank, among others, and is a member of the National Coalition for Digital Skills and Jobs (a European Commission’s initiative).
For the e-learning platform, in October 2016 was among the semi-finalists of the international competition Innovate For Refugees at Amman, Jordan. In December 2017 received in Brussels the European Civil Society Prize, a prize which rewarded 5 European civil society initiatives that aim at the labour market integration of newcomers and all the people who are distant from the labour market and require specific support. Last but not least, for 2018, it is one of the 30 semi-finalists of the European Social Innovation Competition (final results are expected in November).
