In early 2016 NOW was funded as an association in Switzerland by 7 young co-founders from 5 different countries: Switzerland, Germany, Turkey, Slovakia and Brazil. Each of us brought different professional experiences to NOW, ranging from intercultural training, to project management, to social entrepreneurship and teaching. We created NOW with the aim of re-thinking education: focusing on marginalized youth, we want to make cutting-edge educational methodologies accessible for marginalized youth. These methodologies include blended and competence-based learning, personalized learning facilitation, peer-to-peer and project-based learning and many more.
