Certhidea's mission is to support private companies and public administrations in the innovation process, guiding them in the adoption of the best information and communication technologies and supporting them in the whole process and in the consequent organizational change, ensuring efficiency, transparency and transfer of value. The areas of intervention of Certhidea are the following:
• e-government - introduce and develop solutions for on-line services (eg payment portals, territorial information systems);
• ICT integration - designing and integrating heterogeneous ICT systems (eg video surveillance systems, large metropolitan networks, information systems in general);
• reorganization - projects aimed at analyzing and reorganizing structures and procedures;
• European financing - projects aimed at obtaining Community funding
• development - develop custom software solutions to meet customer needs (eg CMS customization, e-commerce, CRM, management platforms).

Custumers are typically medium-sized enterprises, Municipalities, Provinces, Regions, aggregations of entities and multi-utilities.
