I curently work both in a private company , providing services and incorporating new technologies in many areas of the private and public sectors and also am a member of a new SBE, AgroID. My experience as an analyst and project manager in teams that promote openness to accessing data and goods is 17-years long. I have implemented solutions for projects in the fields of managing rural and park areas under contract for the Municipality of Heraklion, Crete, using ICT, GIS and management of materials and intangible resources technologies in correlation with geolocation data.

Currently, I am the team leader of a group that implements an innovative solution for total irrigation water management. The solution consists of a management application with built-in algorithms for the analysis of needs of water use and the medium and long-term anticipation of irrigation needs in agriculture. In addition to the implementation, my team designs and integrates microelectronic circuits of environmental sensors, GPS, LoRa networks, topographic and location-based tagging and water resource controllers for data acquisition from the fields. The data collected are used in the algorithms for irrigation control and management. The solution is also focusing on energy autonomy and long-distance telematics.

In the past, I have implemented a fleet management solution for the Hersonissos-based Fo.D.S.A. (Foreas Diacheirisis Stereon Apovliton) and a complete parking solution, with GPRS enabled remote signage for the empty parking slots in the Heraklion Municipality.

Regarding the social economy concept, I have worked on an e-commerce platform designing, commissioning and training the participants of the project. The project was in use by a group of female-owned cooperatives who produced local Cretan traditional clothing, drinks, beverages and perfumery. He also dealt with local community and local needs, as an appointed member of the ecclesiastical council of his parish, from the position of the treasurer for four years (2011-2015).
