Therefore, we have 1,500 volunteers and members working hand in hand with our six-member honorary board and the 25 employees, to fight for more sustainable transport and an innovative city design, lifelong environmental education, and a considerate dealing with energy. Every year, we mount about 160 events and projects, financed by members, benefactors, subsidies, donations and commissioned work. Staying politically and financially independent, we design actions that are relatable but assertive issues on the city agenda. Hence, our association was honoured by UNESCO three times, most recently as a “place to learn in” in 2016. Because we value a culture of diversity and solidarity, we joined the Diversity Charter of 2,300 organisations and enterprises who share our beliefs
