Andre Mostert is an academic practitioner working for and with a few social enterprises. In this role, he is responsible for managing project development, promoting social innovation models and driving the Employability 4 model and social enterprise development. He has extensive experience of qualification development and is an Ofqaul specialist in Entrepreneurship, Islamic Banking and Finance, Economics and Financial Management (levels 5, 6 and 7). His research interests are focussed around enterprise and enterprise development, complement by work in technological determinism, employability and social enterprise. As an academic practitioner his work delivers a mix of practical solutions development, that straddle different sectors, agriculture, youth development, etc. and some philosophical work in fields of language and language development. Current research is addressing the impact of technology on language and thought, and through a number of consortia, areas of sustainable agricultural, social enterprise development, social enterprise qualifications and social technology.
