Najib Obaid BABAKERKHAIL holds a Masters degree in International Public Management with specialisation in Human Right and European-Asian Studies from Paris School of International Affairs, SciencesPo and a Bachelor degree in Business and Administration with two Executive degree in Project Management and Information Technology. 

Founder and Director of French Refugee Council, Najib Obaid BABAKERKHAIL has more than 10 years of progressive experience in different fields such as Humanitarian Coordinator at the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations Office in Geneva, Senior Project Manager at Afghan Wireless Communication Company and General Manager at the SONUTECH International. He further possess excellent knowledge of international humanitarian affairs and migration issues from prominent organizations based in Geneva including OHCHR, UNHCR, IOM, and UN Human Rights Council.

His volunteer work with several humanitarian organizations has proven his ability to work in a team and establish a strong network and relationship throughout the organisations. He is currently the Head of the Human Rights and Justice Council at the Youth Diplomatic Association of the United Nations.
