I have participated to and managed several Citizen Science projects, where the sense of ownership and participation of different collectives were keys issues. In particular, I very actively participated to the project "Games for Mental Health”. 2015-2017, financed by the Catalonia Mental Health Federation, Catalan representative of mental health associations: http://www.salutmental.org.

The goal of this project was in to include in the research and innovation process representatives of all profiles of people related to the mental health: people with mental disorders, family members, health workers, professional and non-professional caregivers, etc. We have co-created "Games for Mental Health" with some of these list of actors that can be considered as a first and modest temptative of what finally. The project proposes a set of working sessions under the form of collective experiments to visualize the mental health community as an ecosystem made up of various actors in interaction and formed by those agents involved in the mental health recovery process. In this way, it has been possible to measure the social cohesion and welfare of the ecosystem in various places of Catalonia. It was also possible to assess the importance of each of the participants in the ecosystem through their actions in games that retain social values such as cooperation, trust, reciprocity and sensitivity for the common good. A total of 270 people have participated in the Games for Mental Health, which have been conducted between the months of October 2016 and March 2017 with different collectives related to mental health in Catalonia. Outputs have been published in Scientific Reports. This project have motivated us to upscale and go deeper in this approach under the frame of community mental health care.
