Francisco Mendes is an entrepreneur and a Maker!

He co-founded BEEVERYCREATIVE startup and other projects like the non profit “HARDWARE CITY” association, a community of entrepreneurs that aim to close the gap between hardware startups and contract manufacturers, Hack’Aveiro, a movement of Aveiro’s Hackers, Makers and Artists, and is a frequent speaker in seminars and conferences mainly about 3D Printing. He has a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, from Aveiro University, and he holds a post-graduation in Industrial Automation.

Is main focus is to find ways to use technology and good design in the service of humankind to improve our lives.

I've been working with social challenges, namely related with the inclusion of the elderly population in low density locations.
