CONTEXT:

In 2014, were evaluated 17.654 applications for productive microcredit, 32% was satisfied, equivalent to 5.694 number of microcredits, of these just 2.505 were dedicated to immigrant entrepreneurs (125 in favor of immigrant entrepreneurs coming from the African continent) .

In the same year, were created 29.800 micro-enterprises by foreigners, which meant that almost 91% of immigrant entrepreneurs had recourse to informal sources. The immigrants seem to be resigned to the refusal of the banks to their requests for credit, in fact most of them have never applied for a loan to banks. From what has been said, it is particularly difficult for a migrant entrepreneur to receive a loan in the bank, especially during the startup phase.

PROBLEM:

In 2017 the companies created by the foreign people in Italy exceeds 580.000, while in 2014 they were around 524.000. This mean that around 9.5% of total Italian companies were created by foreigners. Although this trend is highly positive, there are many constraints that slow down the entrepreneurial potential of the migrant community, including:

- Access to credit

- business support

SOLUTION:

MamaVenture is the first investment fund entirely dedicated to immigrants with entrepreneurial ideas, with focus and social impact.

We want to solve the problems of the community by investing in its Talents, and creating an ecosystem of immigrant entrepreneurs in such a way that the migrants themselves create the jobs in order to no longer depend on exterernal aid.

2 months of community vote:
Where we will ask the community to vote the best solution that solves its problems

Investment
The most voted business ideas will receive an investment:

a) WITHOUT INTEREST
b) NOTHING RATE
c) NO BINDING WARRANTY
d) NO EXPIRATION

2) FUNDRAISING:

We ask for contributions to all foreigners and not, to have sufficient funds to invest in the ideas selected and voted by the community, in exchange MamaVenture will offer:
Half-yearly reports on financed activities
Opportunity to assist and participate to MamaVenture events and meetings
The first products or services of the activity supported
