Penny is the Chief Executive Officer of Carers Trust Heart of England. Her background is with the voluntary sector, working with disabled people and their carers. Penny was a young carer to her brother who had cerebral palsy and this family involvement led to her interest in supporting disabled people to live independent lives in the community. Penny is an active member of the voluntary sector in Coventry & Warwickshire, promoting services to people with care needs and their carers and works at regional and national level developing services with other network partners of Carers Trust.
