During my formative years I lived in South-America in Colombia, Argentina and Brazil. This has influenced my life greatly.  I am an academic working for several profit and non-profit organizations and universities in The Netherlands, France, Rumania, Portugal, Kosovo, Switzerland and Turkey who combines academic rigour with hands-on experience in project management, as an entrepreneur, as a consultant and program developer, trainer, coach and manager of large complex (inter)national projects. Contributing to intercultural dialogues; a more tolerant, humane and inclusive world; formation of networks; igniting entrepreneurship and innovation within societies and organizations are some of the subjects I am interested and involved in. I combine my academic work with my work for refugees, reason why I set up a Foundation - Faces of Change - which aims to support political refugees towards empowerment and to participate in society and the labour market. I believe in the power of the individual who through individual and collective acts of humanity and compassion can contribute to peace, understanding and a better world.
