Keith Jeffrey – MD CU Social Enterprise CIC

Established in 2014, CU Social Enterprise is developing a supportive environment for the growing social enterprise and start up community emerging from Coventry University. Prior to this, Keith had a wide and varied career in the field of social enterprise. At only 19 he established the now legendary Newcastle Riverside music venue home of Nirvana’s first ever UK gig. Keith was also involved with Bizfizz a pioneering scheme that focused on coaching entrepreneurs in areas of urban deprivation. Most recently Keith was CEO of QUAD, Derby’s centre for art and film.

Coventry University was voted Social Enterprise HEI of the year at this year’s HEFCE awards.
