DTI is a self-owned non-for-profit organization (RTO). DTI develops, applies and disseminates research- and technologically-based knowledge for the Danish and International business sectors. As such, DTI participates in development projects, which are of use to society in close collaboration with leading research and educational institutions both in Denmark and abroad.


Center for Health and Human Interaction Technologies (HHIT) is one of 50 centres at DTI. HHIT works with innovation, test, implementation and exploitation of technologies for health and assisted living in close collaboration with companies and municipalities.

HHIT has three main expertise:

1) Methods covering the entire process from identification of needs to evaluation of the final solution

2) Facilities for innovation and test in form of CareLab – a physical innovation lab

3) Sensor fusion and integration
