CUSE is a highly effective developer of entrepreneurs, social enterprise and innovation. Our mission is to help people and communities realise tehir entrepreneurial potential

CUSE CIC is a social enterprise with a mission to help people realise their entrepreneurial potential.

We believe that entrepreneurship is not just about business start-up, it is a life skill that nurtures competences needed for personal development, social inclusion, active citizenship and employment.

We embed entrepreneurialism and enterprise throughout all of our culture and activities. Our programmes, based on learning THROUGH entrepreneurship, are aimed at individuals and organisations at various stages of their entrepreneurial journey, increasing their confidence and guiding them from an idea to the creation of cultural, social or economic value.

We are passionate about social enterprise and work actively to promote and provide advice and support to communities aiming to create sustainable enterprises that have genuine social impact.

CUSE is the first CIC set up by a University to help social enterprise start ups. It has a Board of senior professionals from the University, private and social sectors.
