I am a social entrepreneur passionate about circular economy, doughnut economy and education. My personal mantra is act, reflect, learn and grow. I also believe everything is energy. To what purpose we use our own energy is perhaps one of the most important questions in life. I chose to direct my energy towards social ventures and collaborations that benefit people, planet and our collective prosperity. My approach is very hands-on and the challenge I love the most is operationalising ideas to concepts, projects and results, often maximising results with limited resources. 

The new economy will not just be regenerative and distributive but also based on networks of talents. People collaborate on projects and are flexible enough to combine different projects into a specific portfolio tailored to their talents, learning goals and the boundaries they want to uphold in order to have a fulfilling and balanced way of contributing to society, while at the same time guarding their personal well-being. 

I'm the initiator and co-founder of Warenhuisje/sCoolMakers and the Stars are Circular Foundation. sCoolMakers creates tools for kids and families to learn about the circular journey of stuff. The foundation empowers kids to be circular stars and provides kids with the information and tools needed to develop into conscious, innovative and collaborative participants in a circular economy through the enhancement of social, creative and entrepreneurial skills. It's main activities thus far revolve around the project week on circular economy: 7DaysCircular for primary and secondary education.

I am also involved in the start of Ruijtergaard, a neighbourhood initiative in the centre of Amsterdam that aims to develop a circular pocketpark with edible vegetation. A place for all parties in the neighbourhood to meet, research and collaborate to discover how to get to a 100% circular park.
