Hello there!

My name is Luana and I am a marketing communications strategist, fascinated since young age about great stories and wonderful experiences. Currently I am working on a business model that includes them as a starting point to create social facts that transform the world in a better place to live. For all.

Coming from a very diverse country, I heard stories of the native Brazilians, Portuguese and the Africans that mixed and formed modern Brazil. Also from other nationalities that arrived through countless waves of (e)migration and joined them in a continental melting pot. I was faced with the power of storytelling since young age to connect and unite people from different backgrounds: when people literally do not speak the same language, alignment can be accomplished in creative ways. One remarkable quality of Brazilians is the capacity of being friendly and lively together (conviviality), these experiences create rapport and empathy almost instantaneously, what can establish healthy and joyful relationships.

After living and working in The Netherlands for about 14 years (in nearly every possible area of Marcom across different industries and countries), I have told and heard a significant amount of stories aimed to sell something: oil, researches, beer, cheese, margarine, films, artists, music, and so it goes. I also have been confronted with situations that have challenged my core beliefs and values concerning Diversity, Sustainability, Gender Equality, and Conviviality on the road. And deep inside, I knew I could use all that knowledge and skills to help in changing the game: to give voice to real people and authentic messages that convey universal values for social change. And that is what brings me here.

Why Stories? Because Stories have the power to create reality.
Why Experiences? Because Experiences have the power to transform realities.

Why combine Stories and Experiences? Because we have the opportunity to align our knowledge and emotions in a co-creative environment, together with our tribe, to achieve concrete goals. This is ancient technology but our individualistic western societies have lost the power to connect to and integrate what is different. Stories are here to teach us, they inform, persuade, touch, entertain, align, question, challenge, transform. They bring us together since imemorial times. Experiences are here to reconnect us, challenge us for new ways of thinking, and put us on a good track.

I believe sustainable societies will be shaped by sustainable human relations and my goal as entrepreneur is to play a positive role on that through Storytelling and Experience Making. Scientists say we will soon be 10 billion people sharing the earth. We are smart enough to make all the technological developments these new times will require. My questions are: Are we advancing at the same level also in our social goals? How to create better societies for all? And how to do this together?
