My name is Bernadette Schomaker and I am initiator of het Huis van Sociale Innovatie. During the last twenty years I have been working at several governmental and non-governmental organizations, among others on the field of refugees, international co-operation, social safety and change management. I have been the head of an expert and knowledge centre on social safety at work. 

My approach is multi-disciplinary. I combine insights from sociology and political sciences with marketing and behavioral sciences. My personal strength is my enthusiasm. Also I am often told that I inspire people to see things in a different perspective.
