One Page Summary

The basic premise of Open Innovation is to introduce more actors in the innovation process so that knowledge can circulate more freely and be transformed into products and services that create new markets, fostering a stronger culture of entrepreneurship.
Thus, an Open Innovation initiative must be built around the key principles of the Quadruple Helix Open Innovation model, where “Government, industry, academia and civil participants work together to co-create the future and drive structural changes far beyond the scope of what any one organisation or person could do alone”.
The present proposal is addressing challenged launched by ESSRG , city of Budapest, that is requiring to develop a tool or service that supports collaborative RRI with and for local society in Hungary in order to enhance social innovation towards ecological sustainability and social justice.

We propose a combination of an Open Source tool already tested in a wide environment (Lombardy Region, Italy) and consulting services to fine tune and launch the local Open Innovation initiative.
