Michael has a migration background with roots in Romania and Tunisia. He was born in Munich, grew up on the Bavarian countryside and moved back to Munich after finishing high school. He completed his higher education degrees at Waseda University in Tokyo (BA International Liberal Arts) and Lund University, Sweden (MSc European Affairs) and has a strong background in political science, economics and intercultural communication with a specialization in Euroeapean Union politics, economics and law. He is experienced in project management, IT consulting and obsessive compulsive optimization and has been working in refugee organizations since he graduated. He has been involved with Migration Hub Network since the beginning of 2016. In his free time, he is a tech nerd and interested in all things digital.
