Fiori is an academic and a social entrepreneur; holds an award winning PHD on Social Franchising & Entrepreneurship from Brunel Business School (BBS), UK. Candidate Post-Doctorate Researcher at Athens University of Economics & Business (AUEB) where she is also visiting Lecturer in Social Entrepreneurship; Holds an MBA from BBS & BSc in Ec. from AUEB.

Fiori was a speaker at Greek UN Women Day events 2018 and invited at the Skoll World Forum 2016 on Social Entrepreneurship in Said Business School at Oxford University. Her focus is to empower vulnerable populations like Refugees, Survivors of human trafficking, SBGV, and unemployed people living in risk of exclusion and poverty to provide for their livelihoods using their own resources.

She has founded The Nest Social Cooperative Work Integration Enterprise which acts as an umbrella enterprise for the following social ventures she has founded: Founder & CEO of SOFFA.gr- Social Fashion Factory providing integration into work and entrepreneurship to refugees and trafficked migrants.Co-Founder of www.Refergon.com a platform matching refugees with employers. Founder & CEO of ZITA Hellas sustainable sneakers label. Executive Producer of the first TV Show on social enterprises "SocialGrowth.ert.gr" in Greece aired at the national broadcaster TV channel ERT1. 

She is the Country Coordinator of the global movement Fashion Revolution.org in Greece which fights for transparency in fashion supply chains.  Fiori and SOFFA were the central characters of a documentary created by Swiss Director Daphne Bengoa “One Over Many”.

Fiori designed n’ leads the EU funded Erasmus+ educational programmes for the incubation of “Social & Sustainable Fashion Entrepreneurs” and the “Social Growth for Trafficking and Refugees” addressed to NGOs in the field. Her research is being published in conferences, journals and books around the globe.She was the Start Up Europe Week 2016/2017 ambassador in Athens. She is a trained facilitator in design thinking methodologies. Designed The Diploma for Social Entrepreneurship at City Unity College. Founded her first company Zita Social in London in 2003 while doing her MBA.

SOFFA was shortlisted for the Skoll Venture Award’16, Won sponsorship at Web Summit 2016, was Semifinalist at the Chivas Venture Awards.
