I am an aerospace engineer worried about the environmental effects of climate change and in particular working on mitigating the effects of wildfires by providing innovative solutions... using tehcnology from on of my technological passion, autonomous drones.

For that, I invented a system to create and direct nebulized water using the airjet from the propellers, which is now patented. In order to bring this pate to the real world, I created a company called DRONE HOPPER in September 2015. in this short period, and with very little funding, we have managed to design and build 3 different prototypes of differnt capacities (5, 300 & 80 liters) using battery-powered drones.

Now, we are designing a hybrid solution with thermal engines which will boost both lifting capacity and flight time-range. With this flexible platfom, we will be able to go from 300 liters up to 2500 liters, with existing engines.

I truly beleive that this autonomous platforms will make a difference in terms of firefighting, since they will be able to work in any condition, including night operations, without putting at risk human lives.
