(Pitched: 14/07/2018)

One Page Summary

Circular economy, intended as a reuse of goods and products, is constantly growing; but concrete cases are still limited, because the institutions are not yet sufficiently informed; furthermore, citizens and enterprises do not have the tools to put in action their intentions of re-use of products.
The solution consists of tools and operational methods to promote the circular economy; in particular to encourage the reuse of goods and products. The tools are addressed for an institutional target and for a broad target of citizens and enterprises.

The solution is divided into two lines of intervention. A first line concerns consists of an event that promotes awareness, debate and networking between policy makers and public administrators. The second line consists of a web application that allows donors (citizens and businesses) to donate goods and products not used anymore but which could still be used (clothing, furnishings, various objects) by others. The web application allows to manage the donations and to organize sales to potential customers.

With the first solution it will be possible to sensitise the public bodies and create the conditions for territorial action plans development, useful to favor the circular economy. With the second solution it will be possible to stimulate reuse practices by citizens and entrepreneurs. The solutions therefore envisage the involvement of policy makers, public administrators, entrepreneurs and citizens.
Regarding the state of the art, on the first solution there are already other experiences that however do not have the architecture and modeling of the solution proposed by the provider; about the second solution, there are no products and applications developed on the web; indeed, second hand markets do not use technological solutions to manage the donation.

The solutions are already tested.

Forum Compraverde (Buy Green Forum)
The Forum Compraverde model (first solution) was tested over the last 10 years in Italy with huge success on the theme of sustainable purchases.

WebAPP "Svuota" (Give away)
The web application SVUOTA (second solution) was developed and tested by Isnet Association (partner in the proposal) through social innovation actions on a local area (Naples).
