One Page Summary

Teachat comes from the idea of making the study more effective and more stimulating through the use of technology and the new channels that students use to communicate with each other. With Teachat we want to offer a new and alternative paradigm to the traditional one of private lessons with constant assistance to the student, a check of its improvements and a protocol that can dictate the guidelines to the tutors for a teaching method inspired by the philosophy "Teaching as Leadership ". The added value of this service lies precisely in making students in difficulty interact with experts in the subject. All this through the use of a web app where the lessons take place in chat with all the features of modern messaging applications.
Another important strength of Teachat is surely timeliness: whenever a student has a doubt about an exercise or a specific topic can enter the platform and make a request for tutoring the system through a text message, a photo or a voice message. The system, through an algorithm, will make a selection of the ideal tutor (or teacher) to solve that type of request based on different parameters (tutor rating, immediate availability, skills on the subject, etc.) and will put the selected tutor in contact with the student through a private chat to start the lesson.
In this way, the tutor will be able to make available to the students in difficulty their know-how, create a positive rating and climb the ranking of the best Teachat tutors who will receive a fee. Its advantage derives from the fact that it can do tutoring at all times when it is available to do so and directly from their mobile device or computer without moving and without having to physically meet other students. The student in difficulty, however, will have the opportunity to interact with an expert at any time and receive timely adequate training on unclear topics of study. The stimulus for the student derives from the channel through which the interaction with the tutor or the chat takes place.
With Teachat the concept of "canonical lesson time" is overcome and the micro-training concept is introduced: through this new paradigm, in fact, we want to provide students with a solution that can guarantee real support even for small doubts.
To keep the whole system under control, teachers will be able to monitor the lessons conducted via chat and communicate with each other in a special section to follow all the same teaching protocol based on the "Teaching as Leadership" method: this supervision can also be done from the parents of the boys to verify that the platform is not used in the wrong way and that it has an effective educational purpose.
The aim is primarily to create a model that stimulates learning and improvement of school performance through an effective and innovative system of instant training focused on interactions between students and professors. The system for measuring results is also very important through tests made to students who automatically generate personalized cards with an overview of the quality of the student's or class's study method.
In the event that you intend to monetize the use of this service, it is possible to include qualified external tutors on the platform and to make the demand for chat lessons with the latter pay to needy students. This is a system already tested in Italy and the first feedback is very positive as 85% of students say they have solved their doubts following the chat lessons.
Through a market analysis on the extracurricular training sector, we can say that in Europe there are several platforms that facilitate the meeting between supply and demand but in most cases the lessons are then held with the traditional approach, through the meeting with the tutor or video call. Teachat distinguishes itself from these competitors as it relies on a communication channel that today the students know very well and with whom they are already accustomed to study. In addition we give the opportunity to deserving students to get involved and to help other students by receiving compensation for the time they dedicate to this activity. The conscious use of new technologies aimed at school education is another important goal to which we want to aim.
